I've written a couple of articles to help you understand what is going on inside your Treo, Centro or otherPalm device, and every now and then I find an article that really helps you to do cool stuff. I'll link them all here.

Part 1: Notifications, Background applications and your Blazing-Fast Treo / Centro!
- This article explains what is going on when applications are running in the background on your Palm, and how you can understand what might be slowing things down.

- An unstable palm can drive you mad. It's worse when you can't pin down what application is causing the problem.
- If you get crashes that seem random and that don't seem to be related to specific actions, then this article might be able to help.

- Its annoying that most Palms don't have wifi, but this neat trick explains how to use bluetooth to connect your Treo or Centro to your home internet connection so you don't have to pay outrageous prices for data.
How to copy dvd movies so you can watch them on your Palm
- This explains how to use free tools to make copies of your movies that you can watch on the small screen.
- It takes a few hours to make the copies, but once you are set up, it is fairly simple to get the process running.
- If you are willing to pay, then this might be an easier method.

How to copy YouTube videos to your Palm
- Just copy the Url from the video on Youtube (shown beside the video) and paste it in to Vixy
- Save the result as 3GP for Mobile and save it to your SD card. You can then watch with the built in media application
- You can also save as avi - but then you'll need TCMP to play the movie
How to install .mid ringtones from your SD card
- Using your web browser
- Or use Initiate, Go to menu/preferences/programs to use and set the sounds app to handle .mid files. Then just launch the file and the sounds app will pick it up for you.
